Bordeaux & Beyond Wine Tasting @ Monument Hill Country Club
Join us Thursday, December 8th at 6:30 pm for a special tasting featuring wines made from the grapes the Bordeaux region of France made famous: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. You’ll taste classic Bordeaux wines and their new world imitators. This tasting will be held at Monument Hill Country Club, 18945 Pebble Beach Way in Monument, CO. 1st course- French onion soup au gratinee
2nd course- Porcini mushroom Bordeaux style: Cepes a la bordelaise- Sautéed porcini mushrooms with garlic, shallots, Bordeaux wine served over a bed of mixed greens
3rd course- Roasted seasoned New York entrecote of beef with Brandy sauce served with Duchess Potatoes.

Emilio Bulfon Wine Tasting Dinner @ The Inn at Palmer Divide
Join us Friday, January 27th, 7pm for a very special Italian wine dinner featuring unique heirloom wines from Friuli, Italy. About thirty years ago Emilio Bulfon rediscovered certain ancient native Friulian grape varieties in the foothills near Pordenone that had been overwhelmed by undergrowth and neglect. Bulfon's unique passion gave the vines a new lease on life in this historic wine region. He treated them with the respect worthy of archeological remains, and replanted them with advice from Italian experts. You will taste two white wines based on the Scjaglìn grape and two red wines, Forgiarìn and Piculìt-Neri. These are very unique, special wines ready for the culinary prowess of the Mozaic staff. This special wine dinner will be held at The Inn at Palmer Divide’s, MoZaic restaurant in Palmer Lake, CO. Dinner is $50/person plus tax plus gratuity for a four course gourmet meal paired with wine. RSVP to MoZaic 719-481-1800.

The Glass Slipper Ball!
Join us Saturday, January 28th from 7pm to Midnight for sixth annual Glass Slipper Ball featuring the best of the Pikes Peak area chefs, a complimentary wine tasting of over forty fabulous wines organized by The Wine Seller, exquisite tablescapes, live dance band, silent auction and much more. The event will be held at The Crowne Plaza Hotel on south Circle in Colorado Springs.

The Zonta Club of the Pikes Peak region produces the Glass Slipper Ball. Proceeds are directed to projects which improve the lives of women in the areas of health and safety, education and employment both locally and globally. The Pikes Peak Area Zonta Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization. All but $40 of each ticket is tax-deductible.
